CCTV

Additionally, we operate a CCTV system on our premises. Visitors to our premises, including our contractors, may be captured on CCTV footage. This will include images of the visitors to our site which obviously includes personal data as persons can be identified from the CCTV footage in question. Whilst we consider this to be unlikely, our use of CCTV systems may also involve the capture of special category data such as personal data which identifies ethnic origin.

We operate CCTV on the basis that it is in our legitimate interests in protecting against theft and other criminal offences, to ensure the security of our premises and to protect against any unauthorised access. The use of such personal data is also relevant to the establishment or exercise of legal claims, for example in any instances of theft.

Notices are located on our premises, indicating that the CCTV is used. Camera locations are chosen to minimise viewing of spaces which are not relevant to the legitimate purposes for which the CCTV system is used, as outlined above.

We will ensure that feeds from cameras and recorded images are only viewed by those members of staff whose role require them to have access to such data.

IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

Where we need to collect personal data by law, under the terms of a contract we have with the organisation you represent or for another lawful reason and you fail to provide that data, we may not be able to fully perform our obligations in accordance with our contract, provide you with the information you require or otherwise properly deal with your request.

MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS

From time to time we may use your data including Identity and Contact Data, Technical Data, and Marketing and Communications Data, to contact you with promotional and marketing communications. We will only do this if you have agreed to be included on our marketing database or in some cases where the organisation which you represent has purchased goods from us.
